To feel her touch, her soft skin, to see her and realize there is no other place I would rather be, you get used and attached to this marvelous being that has come to your life and we never think of losing what we hold so dear and love so much. Do we get fooled by the idea that what we have is eternal? Could this be the cause of taking someone for granted? Are we so convinced of her devotion that we fail to acknowledge this amazing human being? Am I doing enough to show how much she means to me?
And yet sometimes we love so much and do all that is right and go beyond showing our love to end up being taken for a fool. Maybe she thinks that if I am so crazy in love then she can get away with anything or treat me like a toy you play with now and then. Well this is the behavior that kills it all.
To our surprise love is not eternal, it is bound by time and space. Can a plant survive without sunlight and water? No. Neither can love persists if it is not nurtured and instilled. So many times people miss what they had, but not many times they think back on how they interacted, behaved, or responded.
So the message I want to transcribe today is contained in one of my previous posts and here I share it with you, just follow the link:
Love in the past, present, and future.
Yours truly,
Franklin Peña
